There are several extremely useful projects which it would make sense for the chart archive to forge links with in order to save duplicating effort, initial suggestions include:

  • Musicbrainz - Lots of music information including singles/albums/artists/releases
  • Discogs - Another good source of music information
  • Wikipedia - Good information on artists, some albums and a few singles
